Hamilton Community Legal Clinic Opens New Office on Main Street

The Hamilton Community Legal Clinic provides low income citizens help in areas like welfare, tenant disputes, worker's compensation and employment insurance. It also gives legal advice, referrals and representation, public legal education and works on community development and law reform.

The legal clinic was launched on April 1, 2010, and is an amalgamation of the three independent community legal clinics that had been operating in the City for over thirty years, namely the Dundurn Community Legal Services, Hamilton Mountain Legal & Community Services and McQuesten Legal & Community Services.

The clinic is run by a volunteer board of directors and is funded by Legal Aid Ontario.

The new office address is Landmark Place, Suite 203, 100 Main St. E.
