Legal Drinking Age in Manitoba
The legal drinking age in Manitoba, including Winnipeg, is 18.
All liquor licencees, including bars and socials, have the option to stay open until 2 a.m. seven days a week as of July 1, 2011. Previously the rules were different for different types of liquor permits, so beverage rooms and cabarets had to close early on Sundays, and socials at 1 a.m.
Underage drinking under parental supervision by 16-17 year olds is permitted.
